The annual change of CMRPI in NCR went up by 1.2 percent in March 2021, from 1.1 percent in February 2021. Meanwhile, its annual rate in March 2020 was registered at 0.9 percent.
Relative to their annual rates in February 2021, annual hikes were higher in the indices of the following commodity groups:
Carpentry materials, 1.5 percent;
Masonry materials, 1.7 percent;
Painting materials and related compounds, 0.8 percent; and
Miscellaneous construction materials, 1.1 percent.
The rest of the commodity groups retained their previous month’s annual growth rates during the month.
